I was there in Allahabad during the last weekend, and was surprised to find out that there was a big marathon event there on Sat, November 19th. It was the 21st edition of the All India Indira Marathon. The results of the event were as follows:
Mens:
1. K C Ramu (2:21:00) (same guy who finished as 3rd placed Indian in Hutch Delhi Half Marathon)
2. Bhairav Singh Lone (2:21:37) (winner of previous 5 Indira marathons)
3. H A Chinappa
Womens:
1. Reena Das (2:58:38)
2. Sangini Dev (2:59:57) (previous winner)
3. Indresh Dhiraj
