Cadence Design Systems (Noida) and CRY (Child Rights and You) will be organizing a multi-discipline sports event for the cause of India’s underprivileged children. Since its inception in year 2000, this event has raised over Rs 2.5 crore to support CRY in their effort to make a difference to this cause.
This year, there has been a change in structure of this event, from just cricket, to a mix of various games as follows:
- Cricket
- Badminton
- Table Tennis
- Football
- Basketball
- Running (5KM)
The event will be organized on the weekend of Dec 6/7th at Modern School, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi. An interesting rule is that no person can participate in more that one sport, which means a lot of employees get to participate. In fact, each participating team will be comprising of 45 participants.
Number of participating teams is limited to 16 teams. There are a last few places remaining. If your company would be interested to participate in this event and contribute towards this good cause, do contact me.
